Can this officially mark the end of people waxing poetically about Julia Child’s boeuf bourguignon? And also: can you imagine Amy Adams cooking—nevermind actually eating—a pig’s liver with the same kind of bad ass ease as Julie Powell? Say what you will about the woman and her books, but watching her cook her made me like her quite a lot. I say the film version of Cleaving, which will not star Amy Adams nor be directed by Nora Ephron, should do for offal what Julie and Julia did for pot roast.
